Word to the wise also on the retail cards citi will issue them with 90 day lates but at least a few members have been denied cli with serious delinquency as the stated reason why, even 6 year old ones

I can confirm what @Anonymous said. I have 6+ year old student loans lates that were the reason for my denial of a CLI with best buy. & Yes I took a HP for it!

Sorry to hear luckily in my case, equifax is deleting mine extremely early , for them usually it's three months I only have may and June left they have been removing 1st of every month
