I applied to Best Buy in July 2019. My ULT was good and was not expecting my school's payment to be on my Discover's statement for the 16th and cause the ULT to go to 42% (Yes I wanted to see how bad the score can tank). So with my luck seeing how that Amex approved me for a CL of 2k in the start of the month, I tried Best Buy when I was looking at the Samsung Active Watch.
When I applied, the website did an error, but I got the alert from Experian saying a HP did happen, called the next day and did confirm that the application was in their system. The agent then processed it and I was SHOCKed with the response. I have gotten the CL of 3,000 that can either be on store or Visa. Knowing me, I probably would head to best buy for a couple of things from time to time, but didn't need a major network card in my wallet so I am fine with the store card. I was very shocked to find that my CL is 3,000 and it is today.
In the end, I am happy and got a 0% financing with my Samsung Active Watch.
My Ex scores were in the 700s at the time of applying.

i applied for this card 4 months ago with a 753 Fico score.... low untilization only 7 inq's none under a year old and 95000 income. 5 years credit history...and was denied for too many inq's. weird because i see so many people with very low scores getting it? I do have two of their prime cards . oh and no late payments or collections. called and they told me too many inq's. sometimes i think that's just an excuse.
Ok.... It would probably help to read up on the churning rules if you're sporting 7 inq's.

Scores aren't everything when it comes to an approval. Inq's and new accounts factor in significantly as well. Some have rules on X inq's in 6/12/24 months and others just look at new accounts in the same periods.
