So I had a slight feeling I screwed up one their questions in the app ! Got denied.
Was kinda bummed till the letter showed up today and the only reason listed was UNABLE TO VERIFY INDENTITY OF APPLICANT !
I may have a chance ?
Same thing happened to me. Inquiry shows on my report, but Blispay said I had to reapply in 60 days.

They did this to me last year on my first application and I am pretty sure I didn't screw up the questions.
After calling twice they promised to send me a letter and get in touch for recon but nothing ever happened.
I applied again a week ago and was approved after about 20 minutes for a completely useless 2k limit. Just a suggestion I would not bother with this card.
If they weren't ridiculous about verification, understood how to grant increased limits, and would give big enough limits to warrant using the 6 months 0% APR gimmick it could definitely be handy but until those issues are addressed I advise not going for their product.
Wandering Builder, a very off topic comment but your siggy puts a smile on my face. So beautiful
With stories like this, I'm betting that a lot of people are going to be trying Synchrony's new version of their Paypal MC, which from the reports is going to be explicitly marketed as a competitor to Blispay. People complain a lot about Synchrony, but this kind of ongoing issue with basic identity verification isn't one of them as far as I'm aware. It's rather perplexing to me that Blispay doesn't seem to have given any thought to fixing this yet, given all the complaints they must be getting.
Had the same issue when I applied. Received the letter and everything. Made several calls to customer service and provided the required information. Still denied all the way through the 30 days following the initial application and then was miraculously approved. Don't know what happened beyond my complaints for inquiry removal and planning to report to credit reporting bureaus. Have used the card a few times, but don't know if it was worth the drama.
Failure to verify identity has been one of the #1 reasons for Blispay denial since the product was introduced in April 2016. They've had over a year to work out this issue, but have either been unable to or haven't bothered trying. There have been 2 reports from what I've read on here of people getting a failure to verify identity denial overturned... but it can't be done through customer service. You definitely have to email the CEO directly and possibly he will push for your app to get approved.
I had the same problem. I called them up and the rep confirmed my information and then told me I just needed to fax in some identifying docs. Approved a couple days after I faxed in the info. Good luck.

This is an indication of something wrong at a basic level that one has to escalate all the way up to the CEO to get resolved what for most other issuers would be a basic-level glitch, and that this issue has been allowed to fester for over a year. If they don't care - and right now it looks that way - about fixing such a fundamental problem, that's a huge red flag telling potential customers to stay away.
