Blispay after BK?

Was anyone approved after BK 7? How old was it? Are they only pulling EX? TIA

I was approved 12 months after bk chapter 7 with 5k

OK, so I cleaned my house yesterday and did a bunch of other things on my weekend to-do list. It's cold and rainy here so with nothing to do I sat down with my computer and began browsing the forums. Next thing I know I'm reading this post and thinking, hmmmm... this sounds interesting.... and then there I was on the Blispay site applying. Approved for $4K with a Chapter 7 BK 7 months ago. Happened so fast I'm still not sure what hit me. Thanks!

I think there are more posts here about denials due to "Unable to Verify identity" with no chance of recon than Denials due to BK. I got approved last year 09/2016 almost 6 years out of BK7. They use EX exclusively for HP and reporting. It's a semi-hidden TL as they don't report to TU and EQ.

You are welcome! Now you need to come and clean my house because I have a list to do and never follow it Thank you for the info, still trying to gather more info, seems like they are somewhat lenient

Haha! Yes, they seem to be. No thanks on the cleaning. I did it early so I could get it out of my hair. HATE dusting and vacuuming!!!!

Hmm. interesting. I haven't paid any attention to Blispay before. I'm on their website now - they give 2% rewards for all purchases? Even for the 6 month deferred interest purchases of $199+? I've been looking for something better to use for that "other category" spending than Cap One or Barclays 1.5% rewards cards.

I hadn't been aware previously that Blispay (which I still think is a weird name for a credit card ) is BK-friendly, but that information puts them back on my list as a potential Visa issuer, along with the news that they pull EX only. I'll be 3+ years past BK filing and coming up on 3 years since discharge when I exit the garden (again!) this fall, and my latest EX FICO has gone to 675 which ought to help. I'm not so sure how I feel about them only reporting to EX, but then again, it could be worse, they could be a completely hidden TL like Paypal Credit. Do they have a pre-approval/pre-qualification page at all?
