BoA Reconsideration?

Hey, all!

I've been trying to get some reconsideration for The BankAmericard Travel Rewards. I have callled them and they keep telling me I have to mail a letter. 

Is this the new norm?

I want/need this card because I'm going to be traveling abroad for 3-4 months and I need the no FTF!

Did you try the back door number or just the frontline CSR?

Do you only want them because of the no FTF? There are other cards out there that offer that benefit as well and give nice SL's.

  I tried all types of numbers. None worked, I'll try again tomorrow. 

Could you recommend some cards? My main hindrance is my aaoa: ~7 months.

Have you checked Capital One's card for Venture? Capital one has no FTF. Try prequalification page first to see if there are any offers.
