I had the same offer back in Jan and decided to go for it, instant approval for $8500 Cash Rewards. Scores around 710 iirc, probably 5 or 6 new accounts in the year leading up, 13-15 inquires. Pulled experian, 20 year realationship with them and had an americard with them already. Hope this helps.

@Anonymous I have $13 in my checking account and the only reason it's still open is because I've been too lazy to call and close it since I switched to Chase.. They may laugh me out of a HP...

Anyways, I EX has 10 HP and TU has 8. EQ has 4 I believe. I'm going to sit on it for a minute, think it over. Offer is good until 7/20/21 and IDC to throw a few bucks in the checking account for the maintenance fee until I decide.

Dcp0524 ~ Awesome . . . Congrats on your BoA approval. I plan to pull the button mid-June for the Chase Marriott Bonvoy or the AmEx Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant. I'm hoping that I get approved by one of them!!! My Experian and TransUnion files are 100% clean and on Equifax, I have one adverse item: a BoA PIF $429.00 CO from 01/2016 -and- it won't purge until 12/2022.
