BofA secured card

I had app'd a BofA card recently, I don't recall exactly what it even was.  Instant denial. At any rate, I got a mailer friday for a secured BofA credit card...$300 deposit THEN they would tell me the credit limit.  Is there any earthly reason I'd take this offer?  My scores are around 690, youngish average age of accounts, 2 years, 11 months, no baddies, 34% util..  I have 4 AMEX accounts, a couple of Barclays, 3 Cap1, and other odds and ends, none of which are, or were ever secured.

Am I missing something here?

Re: BofA secured card

Take it. That's probably the best secured card there is, in terms of unsecuring quickly and also CLI. I started with them with a 99/500 card in 5/16. Unsecured in 11/16, and is now at $5.5k
NFCU $60.4k/PenFed $22.5k/Commerce $15K/53 $11K/Synovus $14K/BBT $11K/CapOne $12K/DCU $7.5K/BMO $7.5K/Chase $14.5k/Cabelas $10K/ and many many more!
Total CL $398600, plus car and RV loan.
Ooh. Ooh. Getting closer to that $500K mark!

I am curious to why they offerred you the total secured card.  I had score of 528 Trans Union when I applied and they offered 99/500 cash rewards card.  If were you I would just apply for an unsecured card with them  if you want one. With your scores and having no negatives a secured card really doesn't make sense.
