BofA when to get in with them and would they offer the 99/500 secured?

I am planning to garden for 6 months however I would like for my accounts to all age at the same rate and grow strong togther.

I'd like to get in with bofa, do you all think I would be approved? I wouldnt mind the 99/500 secured offer; as long as theyd give me a chance.

I've thought about the HRC bankamericard; the 2% on groceries is something I could use, as I currently has no grocery rewards cashback other than 1% with discover.

I shop fast food, groceries, and gas most of the time. Is there a better card for my profile?

Sychrony would probably approve me? One of their cards may be beneficial the walmart financing would be nice, in case I ever needed to make a big purchase.

I'm sorry I am always asking you guys for advice; I just feel like I'm drowning in information around here sometimes; its hard to sort out what card is best for me when there are so many great cashback cards.

No idea if you'd be approved or not, if it were strictly based on scores I'd say yes you would be approved for either BofA or Synchrony. But of course there's always more to approval than just scores. By the way, where are you getting your scores from? Your scores seem high compared to the type of cards you have.

If you've never burned BofA then apply for the card that fits your needs, the worst case scenario your offered a counter 99/500 or of course outright denied. If your looking at Synchrony you may want to check out the Marvel card for their spend categories. Good luck with whatever you decide to apply for.

Try not to over-think it, just go for it. And while you're at it, apply ONLY for products that the "big four" banks offer (no pun intended). Don't understimate yourself. Personally, I would rather get a HP (be it an approval or denial) rather than live with doubt or curiosity of wether I'd get approved with a certain bank or not. Go for it.

The transunion is the fico 08 from discover card. and the experian is the fico 08 from discover scorecard. I got all of the cards when I had no credit history or fico score. I was only able to generate a fico when my oldest account got to 6months of history.

I was shocked with the Kohls approval (feb). As the fingerhut started as freshstart (jan), and the cap1(Jan) and discover(feb) were both secured. I only got the VonMaur(jan) because I could prove I had a sufficient monthly income.

That is why the cards have such low limits I'm assuming if I got a card now with my score I would get a somewhat higher limit.

Which banks do you consider the big four. Chase, Citi, BofA, and?

Wells Fargo. I would also go with Amex and Disco. I'm not too big on Credit Unions but I do have a couple of NFCU CCs in the 20Ks each... BOL.

I got Bank of America when I had way lower scores than that.. Just crossed 600 when I got it, and I had a 1000 limit.. Honesty was shocked they approved me it was my first non sub prime approval.

BOA was my first prime lender.  Scores were in the mid to high 600's then with a paid Cap One charge off showing.  Sent me a pre qual and accepted me with no 99/500 just straight out SL.  Worth a shot IMO.

Re: BofA when to get in with them and would they offer the 99/500 secured?

BofA wouldn't even give me a card till I opened an account with them. Every time I applied online it was instant denial and time when I applied was when my score was in the 680-698. When I opened the account the banker asked if I wanted a credit card. I told her I do but I'll get denied cause I tried online and got denial. She said if u want I'll just run it through and try. She did and I got the 99/500. This was when my score was in the 630-650 2 weeks ago lol
