Brylane Home Comenity letter

I recently looked at a few more Comenity sites with attached major credit cards.  I did the cart trick with Brylane Home and was pre approved for $750 for the store card.  I declined.  I got a letter in the mail telling me I recently was pre approved and they would like to extend me the offer even though I didn't take it the first time.  I thought that was nice and it's the first time I have ever gotten a letter like that from a Comenity backed store.  The person who signed the letter was a banker at Comenity also.  I must be doing something right.

I get those letters. The last was about Overstock.com and was supposedly from the bank president. LOL

Congrats!  Sounds like you have a plan.  (LOL)

Only thing I ever experienced like it was when I leave items in the cart.  I check my email and they tell me to come back and get 30% off the item I acted like I wanted.  All those items I really did not want when applying for cards attached to major credit cards will be packaged as Christmas presents next month.  I'm trying to go above 800 by March 2015.  I refuse to apply for cards with hard pulls.
