Sorry to hear this!  Does your debit card charge FTF? Maybe they do but they're low. Find out with your bank. Also, make sure to notify them that you will be out of the country or they may put a stop on the accounts.

I just sent the EO an email yesterday, I shouldn't hold my breathe then since they take a week to respond?

Debit card fee is 3%, same as CCs. Will probably just make a bazillion payment on the Cap1 while I'm there, ha! (And as I discussed on another thread, most of the big expenses will be dining so I can still get 2% back from Chase even after the FTF.)

i too emailed the EO at Capital one for a CLI on an account I've had since 2011 that has only grown from $300 to $800.  It was a rebuilder card originally issued by HSBC.  I have been denied CLI increase twice despite my FICO scores ranging from 669-683.  They called me Friday, April 3 and requested financial info from me (income etc). I asked for a 10k limit but told them I'd be willing (lol) to accept less.   I have not heard anything yet.

My current line-up is AMEX BCE -9900; AMEX TE-$2500; Barclays Arriival-4000; First National- 750; Ritz Carlton-$5000;Lowes-6000;Macy's-800;Cap1-$800 Discover $1400 (AU)

Recently closed - US Bank Secured -500

Cap1 Secured 3000

I'll post an update as soon as I hear from Cap1

I have used the Executive Office for CLI with both of my Cap One cards. It has worked every single time, two $500 CLI and two $1000 CLI. I think you'll get it.
