So I applied for a CC from CCCU, and after 4 days I finally got an answer.....Decline?? When I go to look at the reason it says to many inquiries...(They pull experian and I have 2!), and it says to much credit exposure ? (I have 60K throughout all my CC's and my yearly income is plenty more then that!) I don't get it...they say "your money building gods kingdom"....with decline reasons like this how do they have any money to build his kingdom ? I called in and the credit analist did not seem like he knew up from down, and "highly encouraged" me to re-apply in 30 days ?? Why ?!? I now will have 3 inquiries, and 60K avail. on my CC's. I think this credit union is wearing a pair of VERY TIGHT PANTS indeed. My Experian Fico is 724. Has anyone else had issues such as this with this credit union ?
That sounds ridiculous.
Tell me about it

I "use" to be with CCCU several years back because they have an office just down the road from me. Yes, I agree, they do not live up to their slogan. I was very disappointed in their service, being a Christian organization, they did not live up to what they told me. I withdrew my checking and saving and went elsewhere. From my experience, I would not recommend them to anyone.
There are only a few generous credit unions. For the most part, I find CU's wear very tight pants indeed.
I recently applied for a RBFCU card and being scared as I was, I only asked for $2K,..I did get approved but man, it sucks being scared into a lower limit. I'd rather get a lower limit than a denial and a HP.
My other gripe is how they ask "What credit limit do you want?" Ugh....
dont let them beat you!
