Just apped for the CSP. Got the dreaded we'll let you know. The exact language in the email was "We have received your request for a Chase credit card. We'll let you know our decision by U.S. mail. This could take up to 30 days.
Thank you for choosing Chase."
I also called the number to check on the status and it said 30 days.
What should be the logical next step? Wait? Recon? Feels like a denial to me! Looking for advice!

There are TONS of threads regarding the 30 day message. Refer to those. I'd advise NOT talking to a person and just check the automated system every few days and don't obsess over it. I got the 30 day message on the Marriott and on the IHG. The Marriott was approved in like 10 hours and the IHG took a few days to be approved.
Thankyou! That's exactly what I did I wasn't planning on calling either. thanks so much for the response though! I read 30 day is better than 7-10 days so here's hoping. Lol!
Don't call, just use the robolady, just wait. If you have a Chase login, you will be able to see the card when they approve it. Good luck.
Correct!
In my experience, the 30 day mesage means that Chase needs verification of information on the applicant.
Let the ystem do the work- You should be good to go!
