I check my prequals on Amex and Chase religiously. Up until recently, Chase has only shown the Freedom and Slate, but ive just checked for the first time in a week and the CSP is showing up in the "other prequalified cards for you" section. I want that CSP bad, but have held off on applying because I don't want to get rejected! You can see my scores and credit limits in my signature, but what you should know is that I had a 30 day late this past December.
So, what are my chances? Should I pull the trigger finally? The Amex prequal section includes the Everyday, Everyday Preferred, and the Premier Rewards Gold.

You should be fine with the CSP if it is showing on the site. For the Amex, which one will work best for your situation?
Concur with above two posters... 0 inquiries and scores in the 700's.. The will like that.
The other thing I was worried about was credit limits --had read on here they like to see limits over 5k, but I'm only at 4,200 on my Citi DC. I shouldn't worry about that?

No, don't worry about it.. You should be fine.
Chase is solid, and the Citi Double cash looks good on your report. Good Luck
CSP was my first >5k limit.. You should be good to go.
I was nervous too, but if it shows up on the pre-qualified site then you should be solid for Chase CSP.
First of all, I think you would be approved for the CSP.
Second of all, make sure you can reach the spend bonuses for any cards you may app for. Some people may have trouble meeting the CSP spend of $4k in 3 months alone. Throw in another one or two thousand dollars for the PRG & ED and all of a sudden you have to meet $6k in three months to get the respective bonuses. And if you miss a bonus or two, it would totally blow, especially an AMEX bonus as you can only get those once per lifetime.
Good luck and let us know the limit you receive on the CSP!
