I applied for the Ceasers Rewards Visa today. Figured to give it a try seeing it could be usefull for me.
The message I received:
Subject: Your Application Is Here and We're Taking a Look
We're reviewing your credit application
Hello XXXXXX,
We're glad you'd like to open a Caesars Rewards® Visa® Credit Card account.
We just need to take a closer look at your application before making our decision.
Please look for our reply by mail in about the next 2 weeks.
Is this a good thing or bad thing? All of my scores are over 720. I just hate waiting, and hope I didn't waste a hard pull for this card.

The outcome could go either way @MrTom.
That email is simply a bloilerplate message for any applications that may require further review. If approved, you'll get an email notification on that. Otherwise, if further verification is required, they'll send you a letter with instructions. So, at this point, just be patient until you get any additional updates.
Thank You! As I said I hate waiting, and I'm not sure what too long is or what is normal.
I'll just have to wait and hope for the best.

Right. Since the message indicated approximately 2 weeks, just give them that time to review/process things. Unfortunately, not all outcomes will yield instant results, so all one can do is be patient.
Just letting you know I actually applied and received this card onsite at a vegas casino if you want to go that route

@Hoben02- all good and dandy, but the OP already applied. Why would they need another HP? Maybe this can help others who may be near a casino property, but I would point out that even if one decides to pull up to any Caesar's property and apply is not always a guaranteed 100% approval. This is Comenity after all.
Just an update: Well its been a little over a week and I have not heard anything yet. I almost want to call and see what the status is; but from what I have been reading it may be a lost cause. I tried calling the the automated system is not finding an account yet for me.. As you can tell waiting is not my favorite thing.

In all fairness, it hasn't been a full 2 weeks. If the automated system hasn't detected an account associated with the inputs (i.e. phone number or SS#), it's too early to tell. The reason why the letter provided the 2 weeks is to allow the 'approximate' timeframe to process the application.
An item to keep in mind, a variety of financial services' (and other industries) operations have been impacted and shifted during the past year + they may not have the staff (as in pre-pandemic days) to process some of the incoming volume. While everyone wants instant gratification, temper expectations when it comes to a credit card application.
As I said, I hate waiting.
But wish me luck. I have a letter from Comenity arriving in my mailbox Monday. Looks a little official, and I blacked out the window, but there is alot of activity that you can see in the window (QR Code, numbers, and tiny numbers running up along the side of the paper)....just please don't say they put denial letters in Inportant Account information envenlopes too.

I received the same message when I applied a year ago. I called and they needed me to submit some additional info if I remember correctly. I think I had to send in a copy of my DL? I received the card two weeks later.
