This card is notorious for denying people based on silly reasons. One among them is if you have an account listed on your report as "closed by credit grantor." Personally, I check again today after my last negative item was deleted from TU. Before, I was denied for the negative item. This time, I was still denied. The letter siad my score was 796. The sole reason I was denied was for too many recent applications for credit, which is fine, but it feels silly that I get denied when people in the 600s are getting approved. But it does illustrate my point, that some approval algorithm over there is a bit out of whack.
