Has anyone had this happen for them? Saturday morning, I did a pre-qual for Cap 1 and it came back with two or three options--one of which being the SavorOne, which is the one I was after. I clicked through to the application and filled out the missing info and submitted. Seemed like everything was okay and it was processing and then all of a sudden I got this error message.
I'm not sure if I should call or if I should just reapply since it's clear it didn't go through and none of my monitoring services gave me an inquiry alert. I also don't want to risk both applications going through, getting 6 HPs and 2 accounts LOL. I'm really wanything this card for the 0% intro, SUB and 3% on dining, so either option is worth it for me, but avoiding a phone call is always my ideal solution. Hoping this has happened to others and I can hear how it turned out.
It could just be an error and nothing is processed but if you want to be completely sure, you can put a security freeze on all 3 CRA for about 24 hours. Im 98% sure that they havent processed the application though.
No sense in risking something going awry with an app when a simple phone call to a friendly CS rep may resolve your issue in a matter of minutes. It could even result in you finding out the status via an automated system. In my experience, the couple of times I've had to call in to CapitalOne they've been quite helpful. Whatever you decide, good luck with your SavorOne card!
Echo this. Basically the best course of action is get CapOne on the horn and have them clear it up and push it through. Drop us an update 🤞🏽👍🏽
Agree. Cap1 has fairly decent customer service.
Thanks everyone! I did go ahead and call and the rep was able to tell me that they didn't receive the application. He offered to redo it over the phone but I wasn't comfortable giving all my info like that so I opted to reapply online. APPROVED for $8,000!
I just bought a house and am planning a wedding so the 0% intro and the SUB will really help me get everything done I need to!
Call them and ask them
Good luck !
