Cap One Quick Silver

My TU Fico is 614, 5 collections from 5-6 years ago. I did burn Cap One at one point, years ago. I just applied for this card and got the 7-10 message. That typically means a decline, right?

Not always. I, among others here, have received the 7-10 day message and as approved. Sometimes it is or verification.

Your not going to get approved for a regular Quicksilver with a 614 score. And if you think otherwise, I don't what to tell you.

Just maybe and I mean maybe a "Quicksilver One".

Then why do people say they get it with scores in the 500's?

I got the quicksilver one with a score of 612 but I have had the starter plat. card and have use the hell out of it. Not sure you can sniff regular QS at that score

I applied last week for this card and I got an email with a rejection letter. It says they have been trying to reach me (I didnt get any calls from them). I'd like to call them, but they did not supply me with a phone number, just an address.

I would try this number:

Cap1: 800-903-9177 (Application Service Group department)

Maybe someone else can help you but that is what is in the backdoor # thread for the applications group. They are most likely a Monday through Friday department but don't quote me on that.
