Sorry, someone else in the house was already logged in so i posted by mistake under their username but the info is correct. I still have some baddies but my utilization went up after a large purchase so i can only assume by next month it should have gone down and my scores would have recovered. Maybe i shouls just wait until then.

Ahhh, okay then, YEAH, go ahead and try the short app now. You have nothing to loose. If it's a NO you won't get to the full app and if it's a yes fill it out.

I will say, just in case you can't get both CC's, go for the Plat first. Then you can PC it in a month to the QS. But if you get the Plat, try the QS1 right afterwards.

Report back!!!

Re: Cap one app?

The short app says i qualify for a secured card, which i already have. I dont want to waste a hp so i am thinking i should wait to my scores recover a bit.

Does it give you options for the QS1 and Platinum under something like "Here's some cards you may also like"?

Getting INQ's are part of rebuilding and they don't have much impact on your scores. I would app the Platinum anyway and see what happens. If you are denied you will not get an HP for it.
