Cap1 EO

I sent an email to Mr. Fairbanks (CEO Cap1), and received a call from the EO within 2 hrs!!! Smiley Happy  I'm requesting an upgrade to WEMC status, hopefully I will get a call back tomorrow with some good news, wish me luck!!   I should have requested a CLI while I was at it, but backed off...Smiley Sad

Re: Cap1 EO

probably a newb question but how come WEMC doesn't show up on the Cap 1 website?

What determines if you can get your typical acct PC'd?

Probably because Cap One does not offer a WEMC. There have been a couple of reports of peeps who have this unicorn, but that is outside of the norm.

Actually, not on the website but they offer the WEMC on both Venture and QS - by invite or automatic upgrade.  In rare instances some folks could get the upgrade via EO but they have been pretty mum/strict about elegibility - mostly having to do with a very high-spending profile and CLs above $10K as a minimum requirement.  A colleague of mine has the Venture WEMC but this was automatically upgraded a couple years ago (targeted offer).

I have the Venture WMC and was upgraded several years ago.  I'm thinking one of the eligibility requirements might be a CL > $5K, but the EO would be the only one to let you know whether your card has such a PC offer or not.
