OP said twice, under 21. No preapproval link.

I think this is a situation that the regulators had in mind when they put limits on what under-21 people can go for.

OP: you are trying too hard. Just my $0.02. If you are under 21, you have plenty of time ahead. You got clear feedback on CapOne not to app for a while. If you want to try other cards, fine, but don't expect miracles from anyone. It takes time to build your file. Take that time.

It's always good to think long term. Just because you can't get something now doesn't mean you won't be able to get it in the future. These things take a lot of time and patience but trust me, it will feel so rewarding later on. Just move on from CapOne if you can't get anything from them right now. You have a much thinner file than I do but already have all those nice cards.
