Unless there's been a recent change, that's not true. I successfully reconned my Sony Card denial through the EO.

Well to be fair I didn't say it was impossible just not likely, but of course it's always worth a shot, nothing ventured nothing gained. Congrats on your successful recon, glad it worked out for you.
That answers that, I received a letter today saying I was approved and needed to deposit $49, so I just did that. ![]()
Thanks everyone. Looks like if someone is curious about their approval status for the secured card, I found a sort of backdoor in figuring out before the letter arrives.
