I am thinking about applying for the Capital One Venture card. Is it still the case the they pull all three CBs? I think I can freeze my Experian CR, should I do it?
It's not like I don't want them to see something, I just don't want the 3 pulls just for one cc. Also, I am not sure what you mean about the guidelines. Long story short, has freezing one's CR been a reason for denial for other people? If yes, then I just have to decide if the 50,000 point bonus is worth the triple pull or not.

Yes, there has been denials due to freezing a CR. There are also success stories. It is kind of random.
Last month my husband applied for Venture using a targeted 60k offer with Experian frozen. The application went into pending so he unfroze Experian and called Cap One. He was approved but didn’t escape the 3 HPs.
I think it might not hurt to try with Experian frozen but be prepared to call immediately to rescue your app if you don’t have an instant approval.

Freezing ones report to purposely avoid a credit pull falls under the TOS.
Cap one pulls all three, it is a well known fact so if you don't want all 3 pulled you might want to apply with a another creditor. That's one of the reasons I am not a big fan of CO.
Thanks for the input. I think I'll just go for it without freezing. I think it's really stupid to pull three reports for just one card, and I dont know why they're doing it, but I haven't had any inquiries in well over a year, so I'll probably just bite the bullet.
