Hi Everyone,
I am in the process of buying a house and do not want any hard pulls; however, I have an awesome balance transfer offer from capital one. If possible, I'd like to accept it but I want to know if it results in a hard pull. I call but the representatives keep telling me to call the credit reporting agencies. I dont know what Equifax is going to tell me about the intentions of Capital One giving me a hard pull for a balance transfer is. It's not their lane nor can they speak on it. So if anyone here can give me any information I would greatly appreciate it. I have never made a balance transfer. I know I will be able to pay the balance in 4 months but with no fee transfer, I feel it's better to save on interest even with that being said. I just dont value the interest saved if it will cause a hard pull before we close on the 22nd.
No hard pull.
