Good morning,
Hit LUV button and was denied CLI. Reason for denial...recent change to account. Whhhaaat? Will be calling because the reason is vague, and was not addressed under their FAQs section.
Anyways, just wanted to share Capital One's FAQs and answers.

Did they recently increase your limit in the past 6 months? That's why they just denied me. Good Luck on CLI recon!!!!!!!

That's why I was denied on my QS1 - six times so far. On my QS I get denied for the account being too new - seven times so far. I wonder if Cap One is getting irritated with me yet.

Probably. They have never approved a CLI request that I made. They have given me CLI, but never one that I requested.

Thank you
Yes, I requested an increase 11/1/14. After I contact CAP One, I will post response.

Is there a chance that the computer factors in the previous CLI denials? It seems likely that they would keep track of the number of requests and if you seem desperate for a CLI it could reflect badly. In theory it would be easy for them to keep a count of your requests I would think.

IMO no as I did it for my venture one twice a week until Cap1 started handing out CLI's a few weeks ago for alot of people and sure enough I got one, prior to that maybe 30 denials? So I don't believe it hurts you.
