No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
Just like you can log into your bank account, you can log into your credit card account and do the same thing. If all the money is in your bank account, you can easily set your credit card on auto pay so you only have to monitor your credit card. Granted, it's a process but companies just aren't going to seek YOU to give you money you aren't going to use. You need THEM so you have to play by their rules.
I think the moral of the story here is, use the card more.

A lot more. A 10k limit is already high for a lot of people. Put everything you can on it and pay it down to 10% utilization before the statement cut. That way you don't have high util on your credit report but you are showing you are using it. And you need more than 2 cards. 3-5 is optimal for a solid file. Just score isn't enough. You need diversity. 3 Major bank cards, 1-2 store cards, installment loan (car, house, loan) and you can easily raise your score.
Also, and a big also...using credit cards protects your *account* from fraudulent activity and some even include free extended warranty protection on all products. Using a debit card is leaving one's bank account open for the vultures and usually no way to get your money back. I was very fortunate to start using credit cards last year for all purchases. Had I used my debit card instead of a credit card at the gas station I would have been out $1,500 due to the punk who had a device on the pump to get information. My credit card company tracked the immediate purchases that day and notified me of suspicous activity, closed the card, and refunded my balance that week.
Use, use, use your credit and work the system all while being protected!
