Capital One Email Notification for Credit Card Application

I recently bumped my credit score to 652 across the board from a limited credit history and have been denied for every credit building card i have applied for. A few days ago i applied for the Capital One Platinum Mastercard and received the 7-10 notified by mail response. I assumed i was denied but today i got a email from capital notifying me that i have a new card coming in the mail. It makes no refference to my application or status so my question is does this mean it was approved?

The positive wording does appear to indicate approval. Otherwise, which card would they be sending? Congratulations!

I have a capital one 360 checking account and i'm a authorized user on someone elses cap1 card. Neither expire for awhile so it shouldn't be a replacement for one of those. It just seemed unusual to get a email notifying me a new card was sent after receiving the 7-10 days by mail status when i applied. And it didn't mention my application status, account credentials or any credit limit in the email. Is that common?

I was approved although i don't know what the limit is i forgot to ask. I got another email the following day asking for a front and back of my ID and it said its ready to go once i get the card in the mail and its activated.
