Capital One Quick Silver mail offer?

I recently received an offer in the mail from Capital one to apply for Quick Silver. It doesn't say anything abour pre-qualificaiton but it says based on my credit profile with them, they are inviting me to apply and get a SUB. There's an offer code. The SUB is the standard $150.

When I try prequalificaiton on their website, though, they only show me Quick Silver One, which I would never apply for.

Does this mailer mean aything in terms of my approval chances, or should I just forget about it?

Re: Capital One Quick Silver mail offer?

Does the “invitation to apply” (ITA) have a solid APR or a range? Typically, an ITA is just generalized marketing. I wouldn’t necessarily worry about the prequalification page, I’ve rarely been prequalified for anything, and the only card I’ve ever applied for that indicated anything close to a pre-approval was my most recent Chase Freedom Unlimited.

Based solely on the information in your signature, I’d say you have a good profile and a rather good chance of approval. Just be aware that Cap 1 pulls all 3 CRAs. And depending on how new your accounts are, that could be a snag.

@Anonymous, we appear to have received the same mailer.  It's an ITA.  My prequal experience was the same as yours.  I'm not applying.  It'll be another 10 months before last year's unsuccessful triple-pull falls from my reports.
