I recently received an offer in the mail from Capital one to apply for Quick Silver. It doesn't say anything abour pre-qualificaiton but it says based on my credit profile with them, they are inviting me to apply and get a SUB. There's an offer code. The SUB is the standard $150.
When I try prequalificaiton on their website, though, they only show me Quick Silver One, which I would never apply for.
Does this mailer mean aything in terms of my approval chances, or should I just forget about it?
@Anonymous, we appear to have received the same mailer. It's an ITA. My prequal experience was the same as yours. I'm not applying. It'll be another 10 months before last year's unsuccessful triple-pull falls from my reports.

It’s marketing.
