Capital One Venture Pending confusion!!!

Hello everyone,

Can really use some good insight.

This is my 3rd post in a week, but hey, love you guys ya know  hahaha! I have a quick question? So instead of getting a answer of " still in process", or "we are still reviewing you application", when I try to call Cap 1 to get the status of my Venture app, after I enter my SSN, it automaticlly transfers me to a CSR EVERYTIME. Even after hours when I know it will tell me they are CLOSE, lol!!! Has anyone experienced this and is this a good single or bad? I say 'cool' that I get to speak to someone when there open, but there just going to tell me what the automatic system will tell me, if they let it, but it wont. It just states, " let me transfer you to a rep who can help you"????????

Just makes me nervous everytime I call ( and yes each day hahaha) to see what the status is. Recently got a 4500.00 approval from Amex Delta and it's my 1st Amex card so Im excited about that and will treat it very well. I also have alerts on all reports so I'm hoping that's the issue and hoping to get a call to verify or when I call they will ask finally for me to verify, but who knows??... When calling Amex about my staus, I had to verify and about 20 to 30 sec later she told me while waiting on the phone conversating about the cards benifits, she stopped and happily told me I was a pproved and told me my limit.  Honeslty she seemed more excited than I did hahaha!

I don’t recall it automatically transferring me, but why not just talk to them? If it’s a verification thing or something else holding it up, they’ll tell you after looking up your app usually. Are you sure they didn’t email you asking for anything? They emailed me for verification docs when I got my Ventureone. Look at it one of 2 ways: Since robo lady isnt giving info...Talk to a CSR and find out or wait until you get something in the mail.

I had the same issue and was approved for Platinum Card right to the day it came in the mail. Hang tight call if ya want, but so far no denial. Keep us posted and good luck.

Just so nervous and im very happy to here your responds! I will just keep trying and hope for the best I guess lol! How long from the time you applied till the card came? Just curious?

Like 3 weeks (give or take a few days) I think.

I don't remember exactly, but less than 10 days. Did you call yet?

You can pay extra and have it expedited

It took 11 days for them to review my files and it ended up being a denial, unfortunately. I had Experian Frozen and they said they would have to do another Triple Pull in order for them to review or recon my app. Decided against it.

I did call and once again spoke with a CSR who told me the same thin lol! So I will just keep trying each day. Hoepfully I wont get on there nerves.  I acutally got a mailer asking me to apply for a auto loan (pre qaul/ Navigator.) Pretty funny as I really want a new cars BUT I no better as I literally just applied for 2 credit cards and don't want to add more big purchases to my report as it will hurt my score. I figure I will wait until the dust settles and let my garden grow.

Now i just wait in all my nervousness lol!!!!!
