If you have the extra $49-$200 to deposit I would call capital one and try to use the existing hardpull from the denial to get a secured card.

Do not apply for the QS1. You won’t be approved, the platinum is easier to get.

If your open to secured cards which seems like your only option.
Try discover prequalified and see if it gives you the secured version, or open sky as previously stated.

Consider going for the Capial One secured Mastercard (credit check; min deposit $49 depending on your credit), the Open Sky secured Visa (no credit check; min deposit $200), or the Green Dot Bank secured Visa (no credit check; min deposit $200). I got all 3 when my scores were 480 (dark times...Smiley Embarassed).

I got the same message with 640 FICO’s

I’ve accepted they just don’t like me for some reason

I got denied as well when I applied even though I have a Capital One QS. I will wait to read the rejection letter in the mail and will keep you guys/gals posted.
