Capital one APR question

When I check my pre qualified offers it says could not match but it gives me a solid APR. Is that a good sign. I already have a secured card with them that is about 7 months old and a Kohls card that is about 6 months old. Any info would be highly appreciated

I’ve never see that scenario before. 

I have been not pre-approved, but approved after I applied anyway. I don’t recall seeing a set apr beforehand.

Yeah I am Intriqued by it. If I go to their site it gives the 16.99-28.99 APR. If I do the prequal, 3 cards show just one APR. If I change the answer to  the "my credit score" question, it gives me several cards with the 16-28 credit worthiness verbiage.

Does it say could not match, or does it say "we can't provide you with any pre-qualified results?" That is what I get and all cards show a range APR.

That's weird that it gives a solid APR. Hmmm, if you are really interested in one of them and don't mind the triple HP, you could always see what happens. Like JAG73, I have been approved for the QS WEMC with no pre-qual. For my Venture, I had a pre-qual, but I can't remember what APR was given.

From what I’ve seen, the ‘could not match’ is like a Not prequalified, but I have applied without being preapproved and still ended up ok
