So after all the venture news I figured I'd try it out. It was a whim and I didn't need it at all. So glad I was denied.
Surprising though. But I'm 1000% sure it's because too many recently opened credit lines. ( over 8 in 5 months )
Just want them to give me a cli on my quicksilver which probably won't happen.
Anyways, how long before I can actually work with credit again..?
Every cli I request I get the too many recent installment accounts message
Good question........I'm in the same boat.......have plenty of credit .....just trying to grow a few of my 3-7K cards to 10K . I've heard wait 3 mos, 6mos, 12 mos. I just don't know.....it doesn't make any sense. Over the past 3 mos I have been able to get new cards and CLI's on a lot of accounts but get the "too many new accts" from some lenders, i.e. Barclays, Cap1, WF, denials for revolver from Amex.
6 months is a pretty golden number that I've heard frequently from analysts to let accounts age.

I'd go for six months then try again.
Credit score? AAoA? (trying to gather some data before I waste hits myself...)
