Hi there. After have been stuck with a Quicksilver with a $500 limit for the past 3 years, and having never received any love for a CLI from Capitol One, I finally received a pre-approved email offer today for the Savor One card. Interesting enough, I used to bank with Capitol One, but I moved my banking to Chase about 3 months ago, since I saw more potential to grow my relationship with them. I also am working on getting a Sapphire Preferred hopefully by end of this year. Now that I moved on, Capitol One is showing some interest in me, ha. The offer sucks, no bonus offer and 0% intro APR for 9 months; 24.99% variable APR after that. My Chase Amazon Prime gives better cash back that the S1. Sorry, Capitol One, I have moved on! The only fact that is interesting to me, is that it is a MasterCard, which I currrently do not have. I'll pass that offer!
DP: score is 760 across all broads, 5/24 on new accounts and currently 7 inquiries.
I would also say a big ole PASS. They have ridiculous APR on that card. The promo really stinks. I got it with 15 months in January, but not sure it will be used much after May.
There are so many cards that offer 3% on dining now, including CFU and CFF from Chase. The only benefit with SO, which is somewhat moot at the moment, 3% also covers entertainment.
The SO would also be a 3 HP hit.
