No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
My mother is prequalified for Amex through the card match prequal but not Amex's website prequalifier. Is the Card Match Prequalifier typically correct? Thanks
It is very hit or miss i would not bet my paycheck on it lol. That being said some people myself included almost never get pre approvals on credit card sites like amex, chase, cap one but i almost never get denied when i apply.
I think it's definitely not as solid as the actual issuer prequalifying you, but honestly, prequals are hit or miss in general. I almost never get prequals, and I have never been outright denied. Had to recon once or twice but never completely denied.
If you want a card, I say just go for it if you think you can get it (taking into account utilization, new accounts, etc etc).
The cards produced are not pre-qualifications like they are on actual card issuer sites. They are simply a list of cards that you may be able to get based on a comparison of your profile to the required quaifications for the cards. They are also issuers who advertise on the site.
I would be a penny on chase pre approvals only lol

Cardmatch is rubbish.
Hit or miss at best. the only pre qual that i can say for sure works is cap one.
