You are, in fact, given the option. I just did this myself, but can't remember exactly the order in which the pages came after clicking ACCEPT.
I chose to keep my original Bilt 1.0 open and will let it convert to Autograph. Initially, I thought about closing it, but it's a $30k credit line and the account history remains. The one that reports as new is the 2.0 card. Who knows what's going to happen with this new Bilt card since not even the creators themselves seem to know and come up with new stuff as they go
Thanks, everyone, for all the info. One last point...the approval said my BILT 2.0 card would retain the same number as my BILT 1.0. I had figured that the new Autograph would keep the original BILT 1.0 number.
I pulled the trigger and accepted, opting to keep my WF BILT 1.0 open. It was exactly as you guys described. Thanks!
Hey There @12njoy I saw this today and thought I'd share. Is kina of along the lines you were speaking about

That's right. The 2.0 card keeps the same number as 1.0, but I don't think it matters. You're getting a new expiration date and CVV, so you'll need to update your card profile wherever you've saved it as payment option. And, it'll report as a new brand new tradeline ![]()
The WF card will change numbers and keep credit history.
IDK why they couldn't do it backwards. When Costco went from Amex to Citi, credit history was kept rather than starting fresh.
I suppose they did this on purpose so more people wouldn't cancel the WF card. I only kept the WF card because the account history is also being kept. If they said it'd be a new tradeline, I definitely would've closed it.

Thanks. I got the email from Ankar saying my application would be manually reviewed on January 19th. Interesting I called Cardless today (January 29) and was told my application wasn't being manually reviewed. Good bye Bilt. I'll continue using NFCU to offset 2.9% Plastiq fee for mortgage and enjoy my float (something I can't get with Bilt 2.0 anymore).
