Cash+ the Long way

SO I am reading that opening an online checking account comes with a possible credit card offer.

I decide to give it a whirl - 0/12   Had a PenFed 12 Month Personal Loan - $0 Bal

If you only count CC -> 0/12    if you include all trade lines, then this ^^^^  gives me 1/12 - But as I mentioned, "PIF" 2 months early

SO I app the Gold account, get to the end and I have 3 choices of cards....  I originally clicked thru to USB via Experian's offer for GO!

No "GO" offered at the end...

Experian took the hit.  Sprint & SBA Inq were present on EXP.   TU=0  EQ=0      NOW -->  EXP=3  Smiley Indifferent

So Much for, "They Pull TU"

No Instant anything on this deal...     FICO 8 -   EXP=775   EQ=790  TU=788

Still waiting for notice of the checking account.  Have app ID's, but no approvals on anything yet.   May have said Gold Chk was approved somewhere in the app'ing process, but have not received any online access info or Login Info.

Think weekends was a bad Idea?    Was 3 cards visible a good indicator?  Or is that just what everybody sees?

I love it!  I waited 12 months to get all nervous again!

Re: Cash+ the Long way

US Bank pulls EX in some states (which includes CO).

They like to review everything manually. Profile looks okay other than the high utilization on the Amazon. 64% isn't really that high anyway though. Just give them time.

Re: Cash+ the Long way

Ya, I knew they were gonna manually do this, Wishfull thinking I suppose.

I really wanted to document the attempt, sense USB seems a bit elusive.

I was hoping trending data would carry me over the finish line:

Paying $1000 p/mo on BT's (8 months in a row)

PIF all monthly activity (@ $3000 p/mo)

My report shows good cash flow.  However, I wll be surprised if I get approved.

Just seems I have a little too much out there at the moment.

Thanks for encouragement!

Process Update for those about to App.

End Day 3:

Cash+   No Update.

Notice of Bank Statement received - Can't login to view yet.

Seems you can't actually access the account until the Debit/ATM card arrives.

I guess enrolling the card in Online banking is what unlocks access to  ~Online Banking ~ Smiley Wink

Good luck on approval!

By the way, EX card "match" is just like CK's offers; basically just marketing and meaningless.

I waited 9 business days until approval for USBANK cash+. They are extremely overwhelmed right now from what an UW told me via phone call.

Re: Cash+ the Long way

I know, I included that piece of data just to show that I clicked thru via that source.

I also did it to see if the GO would be offered.  My 1st choice is this Cash+ card.

It was a tough choice which to choose;  4% Food -vs- 5% Catagories

But, I have some coverage the food area already...

NFCU GO Rewards gives up 3% on Dining

Discover's rotating Restuarants yields 5% (current qtr)

But on Cell Phone Coverage....

My Best "Catch All" alternative is 2% - but the PCR is tied up with a 0% BT

Resulting in = QS for 1.5% on @ $200 per/mo with Sprint

So the Cash+ with 5% CB and Insurance....   Well, this baby is calling me!  Smiley Happy

Thanks for  swinging by!

Edit:  pardon the pun

I believe that! I see GO ads everywhere.... I mean even more then just Google plastering it in front of me everywhere I go since I was reading about it...
