That 30 day message is not a denial. IMHO he will probably be approved, since the "already approved" notations are usually pretty solid.





























He should call, as they may just need to do some identify verification or something to that effect. 30 day messages aren't necessarily a denial.

The Chase Freedom Flex and Freedom Unlimited are pretty much starter cards with Chase. It's an easy way to get in with Chase. Personally I would say that Chase is a step up from C1 but there are a lot of people loyal to C1 for whatever reasons.
Neither of the two cards mentioned are loaded with bells and whistles. Just simple, straightforward cash back.
I would call in... It could just be some type of verification is needed. The green or black stars have been solid offers from what I've read about on here, and it's how I grabbed my CSP.
