Chase Amazon Prime Denial

Applied today due to $100 GC and I should have researched before I thought this card was un affected by 5/24. Sadly mistaken. Cries back to little garden.

Yup, all Chase CCs (personal and business) are subject to the 5/24 restriction.  Unless you receive any black/green star with solid APR or in-branch pre-approved offers.

Re: Chase Amazon Prime Denial

Yeah that stings! I was looking at my amazon account the whole week staring at the $150 gift card offer from Amazon Visa card. Sadly I was 10/12 lol. So I went with the Amazon store card instead. $60 gift card. Instantly appproved. Yay

@Veronik2019  Yeah. I thought about the store card but I really wanted the visa because I am a heavy shopper at whole foods at least once or twice a week..

@Harvey26 For what it's worth you can still earn 5% back on Whole Food gift cards with the Amazon Prime Store Card.

Re: Chase Amazon Prime Denial

@Harvey26 Yep, I haven’t found one thing that they don’t pay out at 5% with the exception of one taking special financing on a purchase and then obviously you forfeit the cash back earnings.

Yep and unlike some other cards, they actually don't mind you using the card for gift cards.
