Chase Amazon Prime Visa still waiting, boo....

I applied on 01/17, was given the 30 day message. Call the app line and even spoken to two reps, all still saying 30 days and no need to verification at the moment.   Almost a week since applying.  Who else is waiting for their approvals/denials?  I'm currently have Chase with their FU card. 

What might hold me back for getting this card is five new cards within the last 12 months (one of them is closed, four was opened in June, and one was opened in Nov), 10 inquires with EX, 4 with EQ, and 1 with TU. 780 FICOs across the board.  We will see….

I had 5 new cards in 12 months. 2 of them being with Chase +10 inquiries. I did not have any issues getting this.

Sorry it's taking so long, I called five minutes after getting the 30 day message and got approved. GL!

Update:   I called the verf #, they told me everything is fine, then they transfer me to lending.  Lending told me that no decision has been made yet but they can speed up the process, which could result in a decision within 10 calendar days.  Woo….

I heard that it is usually in your best interest if you leave it alone, wait, and not speak with lending unless you have to verify some specifics.

Was about to order some books from Amazon when I noticed the $70 gift card balance. Then I checked Chase.com with my FU account and I saw the Amazon Prime account with a $6.5k limit.  Too bad I have to wait for the card to come in the mail before I can use it.  Oh well, I'll order one book right now with my Marvel, and then once I get the card I will go nuts with my big "to buy" list (more books, router, toilet paper, etc.).

Nice! I'm hoping I'll see similar results. They are still waiting to receive my ID and utility bill. Maybe in a few days. Congrats to you!

Congrats on the approval!

The new card should already be loaded to your Amazon profile and be available for purchases right now... I'm still waiting on my card yet I've made a couple of purchases with it already. 

The only limitations are that you can only pay for orders for delivery to addresses you already have on file; if you need to add a new delivery address you'll have to wait until  you get the physical card (or use another card now).
