Chase CC

I never apply to any Chase CC and I’m really curious about their approvals. Are they Inquiry sensitive like Citi? Are they new account sensitive like BoA? Do you need a mid 600 score or higher to get approve? Which card is the easy one to get? I have a Chase auto loan before and paid in full in less than 5 years. I’m still working to get my score up but any information is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Chase CC

Some items to take into consideration OP.
Chase will exclude AU accounts as part of the UW criteria. Another thing that can be recommended is lowering your utilization to an ideal level, preferably below 10%. Definitely get those FICO scores higher than 600. Additionally, don't apply for the "easiest" card to get, instead look for a CC that would benefit you in the long run.

Yes, Chase can decline applications based on the number of recent new accounts or inquiries like all other lenders but each individual's outcome will vary.

Re: Chase CC

Thanks for the info, my Util should be less than 10% in the next month.

Re: Chase CC

Also, Chase has the 5/24 rule for most of their card products. 5/24 rule is no more then 5 accounts opened with in a 24 month period. This includes AU cards.

American Express: Platinum Charge, Business Platinum, Business Gold, Delta Business Reserve, Business Cash, Business Plus
Bank of America: Alaska Air Atmos Summit Visa Infinite
Capital One: Savor WEMC, Venture X Visa Infinite
Chase: Freedom U Visa Signature, CSR Visa Infinite
Citibank: AAdvantage Globe WLMC
Elan/US Bank: Fidelity Visa Signature
Credit Union: Cash Back Visa Signature
FICO 08: Score decrease between 26-41 points after auto payoff (11.01.21) FICO as of 12.24, EX: 816 / EQ: 825 / TU: 818

Re: Chase CC

I’m staying away from Chase right now since I have too many new open accounts. Garden a little and working on some goodwill letters.

Re: Chase CC

I just got a Chase approval with just 676-679 FICO range.  I only had 2 new cards in the last year.  My UTI was low.

Good luck.

Re: Chase CC

I’m currently 0/24 under 30% util once the PIF payments on two accounts shows up on my 3B next week. My AAoA is 3 yrs 5 mos, oldest is 5yrs. Is there any minimum criteria for Chase besides the 5/24 best practice?

Thanks, trying not to hijack the OP.

Utilization should be below 20%, at least one year of AAOA, no bk.

Thank you, noted!  Are there Chase cards that I wouldn't be able to get due to not having a Chase card yet?
