My DD received a mailer from Chase offering a Freedom Unlimited before her credit history was 1 year old. She applied at 11 months of credit history and got a $800 SL. It has taken some usage and paying off, but about 18 months after getting the CFU she got a 2x auto CLI (now at $1600). During that time she got a Chase Sapphire Preferred at $10,600 SL, so the CFU is growing very slowly.
Hang in there, they do give out auto CLI's on occassion.

18 months lol. Maybe it's profile dependant but for no-good ones like me, I guess it's best to apply the first one after established credit history, why didn't I know this before 😭 Gonna use CFF only for grocery(1st year 5%), will use CO SO for fast food/restaurant from now on, I've used this card too much hoping for CLI
