Looking to apply the Chase Freedom Flex but I want to see what are my odds of getting approved first so I went to try their pre-approval tool and I got the following message: "We can‘t find any offers for you right now. This could be because you‘ve opted out of pre-screened offers or you‘ve recently responded to another offer. Your credit has not been impacted."
As far as I know, my credit report is not frozen from all 3 credit reporting bureau. I even tried a second time with double checking all my spellings and information but still got the same message. I don't think I exceeded the 5/24 rule and my current FICO is 720. I do have a chanpter 7 back in 2016.
Just hope anyone here can shed some light on this. Appreciate any information.
I believe Chase will deny with BK on your report .
Did you include them in your BK?
Appreciate your quick respond. I just retrieved my BK file through PACER and found Chase is one of the creditor. Though I'm not sure how much I burned them (if any). Is there anyway to find out? If the amount is small and within my means, I don't mind paying it off. Thanks again.
Since you included them you can cross them off your list for quite sometime .
Perhaps you're right. Stragely enough, I'm currently have an auto loan with them (Subaru finance by JPMC). Got approved 2 years ago. No missed payments. Though I'm not sure if that's separated from the credit cards department.

Credit products are completely different
@Jnbmom. Thanks for the insight. I haven't been in the credit card game since the BK. I'm trying to rekindle the relationship with them even if I have to pay them back (within my means). Do you know if that's even an option? If not, should I try again after the BK falls off my credit report?

No even if you offered to pay they are not going to let you back in as the BK is on your file . Eventually they will let you in but it will be quite sometime . Best to just look for other lenders that suit your needs .

@Jnbmom, not what I like to hear but agree with you 100%. I should just move on. I expect my BK will fall off my credit file by 2026 which is just around the corner and maybe I'll try again by then. Thanks!
It took me 14 years and 11 months after my CH7 discharge to get back in with Chase. And I am really enjoying my CSR. Hoping to keep things going well for a CLI, additional card, and possibly a mortgage down the line.
