What? From 4,500 to 8,000 in a 7 month old Chase card? Wow! Congrats
Maybe I'll aks for a CLI in the future.
I personally haven't ahd an issue with getting limit increases from Chase, as long as I was using the card. Unlike Citi, they seem to actually like usage on the card to grant a higher limit. Of course, everyone will have a different outcome. However, when I've been using the card a lot and up to the limit, the increases have always been granted.
So did they do a hard pull or soft pull?
Congrats on the amazing Chase CLI!

Yes hard pull and actually hard pull seconds before i hung up with the rep late last night, i had an email from credit sesame and checked it was a hard pull on Transunion from Chase!
By December I wanna ask for my card to be a Visa Signature as it will be 1 year old..... Does anyone know if that requires a hard pull at all?
Also I wonder if the $8K would have been available when i did my initial recon of the limit back in December when i asked for "something not obscene.... how about $4,500?......ok approved!" I wonder if i could have gotten 8k right away? Didn't wanna push my luck at that time. I wanted to show them what i could do and earn it and they came through! ![]()
I wanna plan on apping for the Ink Cash Business Card in about maybe 2 years from now if i can resist the ability to app sooner......LOL! I figure 2 years all my accounts will age nicely and i'll have aged business cards by then too, which may make the "grilling less painful" LOL!
WTG! Congrats on your CLI!
