Hi all.
8 months of history with a cap 1 card $300 limit. current report ultilization is 1%. EQ fico score is 718.
Applied Chase Freedom Rise on Aug 28, got a 7-10 days message. I then called the recon line and a few days ago I received a letter stating they are not able to obtain my credit report from Transunion.
Today I called recon line again and request pull my report from Equifax since I was able to see my history, she agreed and put me on hold for 30 mins. Then she let me know that she overrided the credit report limitation, overrided bank statements requests and trying to process my application. However, she wants to upload my income verification via DocuSign for final review.
I'm current a Canadian and got my ITIN # since I do lots of crossborder activities and I do have a few US stock broker that needs to do taxes next year.
Wondering will they accept my Canadian paystabs as an income in order to approve my application?
Ok, I see a few issues here. First an ITIN is for people that have no income from the US at all. If your constantly going over the border and making money in the US you are supposed to file for a SSN. In reality people are issued a SSN like candy in a candy store. Secondly Chase is a US bank and I am fairly certain does not do card issuing north of the US border so they should decline your business. I recommend canceling the application before you get hit with FTF's but if you want to try anyway you can play with DocuSign which is electronic.
Actually got off talking with the recon line here and 2 agents gave me the same answer prior to approval. Some data points to share:
1. Requirement asked for income such as pay stubs, as long as the pay stubs are verified, they don't care where the income is. All they want to know is if the income is sufficient to cover the debt.
2. With checking account by Chase will indeed help with the new application.
Approved for $1,700 on freedom rise.
