Back again...

Received an auto-CLI from Chase on my Freedom Unlimited as of this morning. Pretty excited about it.  I'm really not sure if there any rhyme or reason for auto-CLIs from Chase.  I opened the CFU in April 2017 with a SL of 1.5K and my score at the time was only 663.  This morning my credit line was increased to 3K.

I've pretty much PIF every month, never carrying a balance.  I also recently opened the Chase Sapphire Preferred, but I'm not sure that was a factor in the auto-CLI.

Congrats on the mythic unicorn, the Chase auto CLI!

What's the highest you've used in a recent month and the highest you reported at statement cut in a recent month?  One of the data points is that high-ish usage gets auto CLIs.

Congrats!! I got an auto-CLI on my Freedom Unlimited 4 months after I got it. Went from 2.5k to 3.5k! Largest balance I had at the time was $890 about a month before, but I paid it down before that cycle ended. Just got approved for the CSP so I'm hoping I might get another little bump to help with my util, I'm at 11% but hoping to be under 5% with the new card.

During Black Friday, I maxed out the card buying fitness equipment from Rogue, but I paid it off immediately (did it for the points).  That charge was roughly $1300.  That was the highest I'd charged during a billing cycle.  REgularly, only groceries and everyday items are the balance--between 250-300.

You'll love that Rogue equipment.  One of my "incomes" is monitoring craigslist for powerlifting equipment and trying to buy it for cash before the local used sports stores snag it.  Rogue equipment finds are my favorite because they resell quickly.

Of course, I have about 30 bumper plates in the garage right now needing photos but I want to wait until January when the fake fitness adherents want to overspend on equipment.  I always tell buyers I'll buy it back for 60% after 30 days, no time limit.

If you didn't snag it this time, add their $95 landmine to your future wishlist.  Absolutely my favorite little chunk of equipment and you can do every major powerlift with better form and heavier weights if you need to work on form.
