Yes, that is why a lot of people hang on to it til they can redeem it at a Park Hyatt in some exotic locale. I know a few who used it in Paris and Singapore.

Yes. Have a great weekend somewhere!
Yep. they just have to be used in the first year you have a card. Any Hyatt brand, anywhere, space available of course. You might even get a room upgrade with your Platinum status you get with the card.
Park Hyatt Paris is frequently over 1K a night. Park Hyatt New York ain't cheap. Nice Grand Hyatt on Kauai from what I've heard.
Great card.
Can you only use the free nights to book the hotels basic room? The presidential suite? Somewhere in between?
EDIT: Nevermind. Read the offer details and it says standard room.

Book standard room, get upgraded using $20 sandwich trick and or status.
$20 sandwich trick?
When you check into a hotel slip the front desk clerk a $20 bill with your credit card and your ID...
At the same time, ask if they have any complimentary upgrades available.
Rule of thumb is that the front desk clerk will check for upgrades and if they cannot find anything they will return the $20 tip, no harm, no foul. ![]()
