For the first time in a VERY long time, I received hits on the Chase Preapproval page. I thought I was hallucinating when the page returned with 6 pre-approved offers. I honestly don't believe any of them since Chase was one of those that I included in BK-7 back in 2006. Every time I tried the preapproval page, it would be an instant "No offers for you!" page. But it's different today. So, is the page legit or just like the BoA page??
I opened a Chase checking for a SUB in July. I've had accounts there over the years after my Ch7 BK in 2009 that Chase had several accounts in. Until July 2024 I didn't have any current relationship with Chase. Always got declined for cards. In August I had a list of offers in my "just for you" with interest rates and SLs. I went into the branch since I had a fraud alert on my CRs due to someone opening a US Bank Harley Visa in my name in July.
Banker sent me a special link to accept the offer. Instant 14 day message. Banker called and had them verify my ID and I walked out with the CSR exactly as listed in my offers page.
Got my CSR SUB points last month.
So the offers were real! That's a great thing for me! I got back with Citi a couple of years ago even after including them in BK-7 as well! I won't be applying for any Chase cards just yet because I am over their 5/24 rule but I might try an application in 2025!

Nice to see, right? ![]()

Pre approval are legit, especially if they have a CL and APR. They also might bypass the 5/24. Your BK was over 18 years ago, but it also depends on the amount of the BK.
