Chase Sapphire Reserve CLI

So, I just received a CLI on my Chase Sapphire Reserve from $18k to $22.6k about 2 months ago.

How soon can I request a new one?

Are there any specific timeframes or other tricks for the Chase Sapphire Reserve?

Thanks Guys!

There really aren't any tricks per se specific to the CSR.

You can request one at any time.  Bear in mind that it'll be a HP (sometimes 2) when you initiate the request whether through SM, online (if link is available for your account) or when you call.

Chase is stingy with CLIs. I don't think it's worth the HP. If you really need more, I might even recommend applying for another compatible Chase card (Freedom, for example), keeping it for a year or two, and then closing it while combining the credit line with your CSR.

Re: Chase Sapphire Reserve CLI

They are not stingy at all. OPs limit is over $20K. I cannot imagine any metrics by which that's "stingy"

I'm really not sure where are you getting that from.

Just because we ask for one, doesnt mean everyone is going to triple the limit.

I'm not privy to ingredients,  but plenty of people got great increases and plenty of people did not.

If OPs spending warrants another increase, they can ask. Results will be whatever they are. Just like everything else, results will be profile specific.

I personally would not request an increase this close to previous one.

Give it some time, I think it might improve the outcome.

I have asked for (1) CLI from Chase, and was granted $9000.00 at LOL/24. You can search approvals to verify it.

I did not feel that was "Stingy".

Re: Chase Sapphire Reserve CLI

I requested a CSR CLI in December and got 9K. I think one request a year is more than enough. But those HP's are yours to waste so fire at will.
