Chase Verification?

OK, I'm awaiting fraud/verification on my still pending app over 2 weeks but, after perusing the forums I'm wondering what triggers "verification"? I've seen users with similar profiles get approved instantly or within a couple of days by calling the backdoor. I tried this twice and got forwarded to verification both times.

My employer, home address, etc etc which are shown on my CRs is unchaged in over 25 years so, it seems non-sensical. The only other lender that seemed to go a little crazy was Discover.

I also faxed my DL from my home and THAT number is easily autheticated.

Doesn't make a lot of sense. Shouldn't take this long. When was the last time you talked to Chase? Have they asked you send them any identification docs?

Maybe they're still waiting on documents? W2? 1099? Do they need to verify income or identity? This is usually something that could be done in 1 phone call.

Spoke to UW last night who stated they received faxed DL last week, decision in 5 MORE days.

Thats ridiculous for this long wait. Either they are going to approve or not. They need to tell you already..

That happened to me once,with Citi. App on Oct 10 2013, and i was not approved until Nov 3 2013. Send in various documents via fax,and then waiting game. BTW, i had to talk to EO in order to get it resolved

Citi?

Not surprising there, buncha idiots and thieves. They still haven't repaid bailout $$ but, paid $200mil to name CitiField. Crooked as a dogs hindleg

Telephone status this AM, "You've been approved" but, doesn't state CL.

Anyone know if calling UW for CLI is a HP or SP, Ex on ice but, Eq04 has increased about 30-40 pts to 684 since apping on 2/4, is it a Signature Visa if CL >$5K?
