IMO it does matter slightly.. I was 6/24 and pre approval for CSR was removed and I think it was my relationship that got me approved without needing to do a recon, good time to get the 100K UR points.

Re: Chase approval chances

I would think the presence of a Chase bank account would only matter if you actually go in-branch and apply though, right?

I mean if you apply online for a Chase product, is the automated system actually able to see that you've got a bank account with Chase at the time?

Re: Chase approval chances

I'm pretty sure that their system knows if you have deposit accounts with them...

NFCU $60.4k/PenFed $22.5k/Commerce $15K/53 $11K/Synovus $14K/BBT $11K/CapOne $12K/DCU $7.5K/BMO $7.5K/Chase $14.5k/Cabelas $10K/ and many many more!
Total CL $398600, plus car and RV loan.
Ooh. Ooh. Getting closer to that $500K mark!

Re: Chase approval chances

You may not have to be a customer to get in-branch approvals, but a banking relationship can't hurt any
