I was going to call Chase today, but after some research I see people says to wait it out and the 30 days message will most likely be approval. I sure hope so!

Best of luck to you!

Re: Chase decision within the next 30 days message :(

I apped for the Marriott Rewards card, as I am staying at one of their hotels and wanted to charge the reservation to it.  Unfortunately I got the same message as you, robot lady saying 30 days.  So I guess it is just wait.  I actually didn't want to apply for this card at this time, as I went on an app spree at the end of 2015 (Got 4 cards out of it), however I went for it as I wanted to get the $150 off the resrvation I made.  Oh well.  Had to use Amex instead.  Be nice for to get approval, but won't be upset if denied.  Wanna bring down my debt some more.......If denied I will try again in a few months.......

Def good luck to you! I've seen recent posts where the 30 dsy or less wait paid off.. so an approval is quite possible.

Re: Chase decision within the next 30 days message :(

Just called the status line and it said it was being reviewed and would notify me in 7-10 days. Email they sent the day of app, said 30 days but the status line now says 7-10. What you all think ?

I called a few minutes ago and got the same automated message after I received the 30 day email. Lets see how it plays out. I am in the garden now so I no matter the decision I will not recon.

Re: Chase decision within the next 30 days message :(

Everyone who isn't approved instantly receives the same 30 day email. It is what's on the phone that is important. History seems to show that if it says 7-10 over the phone it's a denial and if it says within two weeks or within 30 days it's an approval. However, I was recently  denied and then was able to recon it into a small approval by calling that number and mashing the 0 button. A rep a few days later said my card hadn't been shipped out and that if I wanted, she'd be happy to expedite it to me for free. :-)

Yeah I know the 7-10 usually means a denial. When I applied I got the 30 days email. Called that night and it said 30 days. Few days past so I called again and it said 7-10.
